“Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits in the place of honor at God’s right hand. Think about the things of heaven, not the things of earth.”  Colossians 3:1-2 Have you ever been invited to a wedding celebration? Often there is a pre-announcement to save the date of this important event and look forward to a coming invitation soon. The invitations are prepared with calligraphy lettering, embossed stationary and coordinated return cards enclosed. This is going to be a special event that demands your attention.  As Christians we are called to a special event, life with God. It is not just something we choose to escape the fires of hell, but something we desperately want to be a part of. So...we intentionally rearrange our schedules, our priorities and our expectations to be part of this wondrous celebration we know as the resurrection in Christ. "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." Philippians 3:14 The Splendor of Heaven is a look at the Kingdom of God that is waiting for the Bride and the Groom to be ready. What does Heaven mean to you?
