Stay Positive!

CoffeeBy age 16 the average person receives 173,000 negative messages about themselves (29.6 per day).  On the other hand the same person will receive 16,000 positive messages about themselves (2.7 per day). – Life Studies Institute

A positive attitude is like a fire: Unless you continue to add fuel, it goes out. — from Positive Charges by Alexander Lockhart

Steps to Stay Positive

(1) Say positive things in your mind about yourself – the impact of training your subconscious to be positive rather than the negative self-talk that usually dominates our thoughts will be incredible.

(2) Say positive things during the day to others – when you become an agent of positive change, it reinforces the positive things you’ve been saying in your mind about yourself. You are a good person, you do have special qualities, you are a gift God has given to the world.

(3) Avoid the negativity black hole –  usually these are people who are energized by sucking the good things out of others. We call them EGR people [extra grace required]. You already know one and I pray you’re not one other people are thinking about. These are people who, for whatever reason, create drama, create conflict and ignite anymonsity between people. You feel them literally sucking the life out of you.

AVOID THEM! While they may want to demand your attention and speak negatively about you if you don’t meet their needs, don’t buy into it, don’t let their seeds be planted in your brains and whatever else, don’t believe their accusations.

Stay Positive – Stay Focused – Stay Strong!
