Each day present a once in a lifetime opportunity to become a new person, to walk a new path, to make new discoveries about yourself and others, and to act in ways never before tried or tested. Yet most of us see Monday Mornings as the beginning of another string of meaningless days and routines strung together without rhyme or reason.
In order to make today the greatest success, you must follow the three “C” of growth. If you do nothing different today, if everything is boring, and nothing significant happens, that is your choice. You may make it intentionally because you want security in knowing today will be boring, or it will happen by default. Either way you choose what you received. Each day God is offering you a choice and a path for you to travel, either toward life or toward boredom and death.
All great days possess a certain degree of unpredictability and that can really scare the begeebers out of you! Life is filled with risk. We learn by trial and error, by exploration and curiosity. We stagnate mentally and emotionally when we embrace what is comfortable and then spend years in silent hurt wondering if something could have materialized – never knowing. So why not take a chance. Read a biography and be inspired. Read a cookbook and trying a new type of food. Read a passage of the Bible and stretch your perspective. The spirit of adventure really is in you just waiting to be let out for a good stretch.
Life will remain the same unit the pain of remaining the same is greater than the fear of change. Lasting changes happens when you look for it.
