We are given the choice in how we respond to those moments of chaos, uncertainty and trouble. We can either preayre for them or pretend they don't exist and go through life blistfully ignorant. We pretend problems will never come to good people like us, even though we know better. In his best seller, The Road Less Travelled, M. Scott Peck starts by stating "Life is Difficult." This reality is the basis of all sound mental and emotional health. Jesus says it another way. He says in Matthew 7:24-28, it's like building your house on a rock or on shifting sand. We can either prepare for the difficulties and changing times or pretend it won't ever happen. What best describes your current approach to life? What are you preparing for in your life and what are you ignoring? Let's talk about it... http://www.slideshare.net/steve4040/prepare-or-pretend-81615
