Go Beyond I. Faith That Goes Beyond II. Love that Goes Beyond
"No one is exempt from trials and tribulations. In fact, this is often what happens to people God loves very much, for it is part of God’s often mysterious and good plan for turning us into something great." Timothy Keller
Faith and life must be tried and test to become precious and stronger. Pain strips away all the childish notions of a life being like it appears in a sit-com. Cruising through life without care or worry is unrealistic and unhealthy. When we face trials honestly and openly, we can learn from them and grow in wisdom, maturity and confidence. When we shy away from the difficult challenges in life, we also deny ourselves the opportunities to become people of noble character with deep spiritual confidence that rests in the power of God.    In our story today, a woman risks all that she is and all that she has to touch the hem of Jesus' clothes. Circumstances suggest such a risky venture is pointless, but hope says "try one more time and believe!" Are you more likely to give up and go home, or try one more time?
