Prayer for the Parents and Students of the Leap Ahead Learning Center
Lord, I thank you for the gift of these children and the exciting opportunities they will have this year to grow, learn and make new friends. We hold each of these children as a special gift and a sacred trust from You and will do all in our power to care for them, to guide them and to encourage them to explore their world and to discover their own unique gifts and talents. I pray especially for those children who will experience the pain of separation from mom and dad for the first time, I pray for parents who love so intensely that each tear will break their heart and I pray for our teachers and director who will be called upon to comfort and console them. Our journey this year will not be one of just lessons and learning, but of love and faith.
So we ask you, O God, to come into our homes, hallways, and classrooms this year that we might all grow together in a spirit of love, wonder and gratitude. We ask this in the name of the greatest teacher of all, Your son Jesus. Amen
